The City Council meets the first and third Tuesday in each month, except for December, in which they meet the first Tuesday.

CITY RECORDER
The Recorder’s Office is responsible for maintaining accurate records of financial performance and business conducted by its elected officials. The Recorder is responsible for preparing and posting agendas and notices for all City sponsored public meetings, and records and transcribes public meeting minutes. The Recorder is responsible for maintaining City ordinances, resolutions, contracts, and other official documents and acts as the election official to coordinate all municipal and special elections. The Recorder acts as the City records official responsible for the City’s records management system.
The Utah Public Notice Website
The Utah Public Notice Website is a central source of all public notice information statewide. Public notice informs members of the general public of government activities that may concern their local area, municipality, county, or state. The City publishes all notices, meeting agendas, minutes, and packet information on the site. The following is a link to the Utah Public Notice Website.

Where can Public Notices be Found?
Public notices are notices that are required to be provided to the public by a public body. The City follows state law in accordance with noticing requirements. Notices that are required to be provided can be found on the Utah Public Notice Website, www.utah.gov/pmn, the City Website www.washingtonterracecity.com ( Under Public Notices), and will be posted at City Hall located at 5249 South 400 East, Washington Terrace. A copy may also be requested from the City Recorder's office to be provided.

Public Notices
Public Notices consists of notice of Public Hearings, Meeting Cancellation, and general notices.
Public Notices are notices that are required to be provided to the public by a public body. The City follows State law in accordance with noticing requirements. Records Request
Official records of the City, Council Minutes, Elections, Regulations, Ordinances, Resolutions, Licensing, budget, Zoning issues and other types of official City business can be obtained upon request. Please submit the GRAMA request records form to the City Recorder's office.
Recent Ordinances
Ordinances are created by legislative action of the City Council to regulate, require, prohibit, govern, control or supervise any activity, business, conduct or condition authorized by statue. Ordinances can be created to regulate the conduct of people or certain groups and often contain penalties. Other ordinances can be created for a single special purpose.
